Bredon Cricket Club’s Under 15s and Under 13s sides (with some extras thrown in) met for a 20-over friendly match at a blustery Hill Close this evening.
The younger players batted first and soon put a decent figure on the scoreboard. With wickets to spare they could have battled even more adventurously, but in the end settled for 111.
The Under 15s were unsettled by some good bowling and fielding, and with the evening temperature falling rapidly could not match the tempo set by their opponents, posting a total of 63 runs.
