Please note: Match cancelled due to rain

It’s half-term so we are opening up our clubhouse bar for a mid-week social.

We are open from 6pm, so come along and support the kids and enjoy a drink and chat with the other parents.

You are welcome, too, if you would like to see our junior cricket set-up and talk to one of the coaches about your child getting involved at Bredon.

Bredon under 11s lose to Tanworth and Camp Hill by four runs

junior cricket batsman
So close! Tanworth and Camp Hill Maroons beat Bredon under 11s by just four runs

There was a nail-biting final over as Bredon under 11s batted flamboyantly in a last-ditch effort to reel in Tanworth and Camp Hill Maroons.

Only some fine fielding by the Maroons preserved their lead, and the match ended 249-245.

It was, overall, a solid performance by Bredon.

Fine performance: Bredon under 12s played superbly against Exhall and Wexford

Bredon under 12s put on a first class display away against Exhall and Wexford.

Bredon batted first and scored 303 for two wickets.

Exhall and Wexford were 211 for 16 wickets.

It was an excellent batting, bowling and fielding performance by all eight players.

There was lots of encouragement, and all the players helped each other in what was a great team effort.

They are really taking in the training drills on a Friday night, and learning the skills that are being implemented on match days.

A massive pat on the back to the under 12s team. Well done, lads!
