Bredon lifted the champions trophy at Dumbleton Cricket Club’s Under 9s Festival on Sunday.
They negotiated two reasonably comfortable matches, two tight ones, and one nail-biter which they won by one run!
Other teams involved were Dumbleton, Ashton and Gotherington.
Stuart McMillan stepped in as coach, while Paul Foster, Brad Cooper and Lucy Donovan gamely volunteered to score the games.
All the boys did exceptionally well on what was a very hot afternoon.
Credit goes to Dumbleton for a well organised and enjoyable tournament.
