Malvern Hillbillies to entertain tower runners

Malvern Hillbillies, who specialise in old-time Americana music, are to entertain runners and guests at Bredon Cricket Club Tower Run 2017.

The band’s infectious rhythms are sure to go down well at the event on Sunday, May 28.

The hillbillies form part of a package of entertainment being laid on at the club.

There will be a barbecue, cake stall and bouncy castle for children after the run. Our fully licensed bar will also be open.

It will be an event for all the family, as well as for entrants celebrating their completion of the trail run up Bredon Hill.

The Hillbillies are based at Welland, near Malvern, and comprise Pete ‘Hillbilly’ Haynes, Andrew ‘Foxy’ Cocks and Pete ‘Cousin Merle’ Hammond.

You can find out more about them on their Facebook page.
