Sunday (July 9) will be a proud day for Rachel Fenney, her family and everyone at Bredon Cricket Club.

She will playing a county match for the first time at her home club when Worcestershire Under 17 girls take on Buckinghamshire.

Although she has played for the county for nine years, this will be the first time a county girls match will be hosted at Bredon.

The 45-over game starts at noon at Hill Close.

Last year, also playing against Buckinghamshire, she reached the highest score by a Worcestershire girl in age-group cricket for five years.

Please try to make it along to watch and support Rachel, who is a Second XI and Sunday team regular for Bredon.

Her dad, Ian, also plays for the club, as do her brother, Tim, her uncle, Clive, and her cousin, Dom.
