Bredon Cricket Club is an inclusive organisation with an emphasis on safeguarding and developing young players, as well as striving for success on the pitch.

We welcome new players (juniors and seniors) for the 2022 season, as well as social members who wish to enjoy watching the sport and relaxing at our friendly clubhouse bar with one of the best views in Bredon.

Cricket for children at Bredon Cricket Club in 2021

Bredon Cricket Club welcomes junior cricketers for the 2021 season, and has lively ECB-backed coaching programmes for younger children.

We also enter teams in the Cotswold Hills League across a range of age groups to give them their first taste of the competitive game.

All our coaches are DBS checked.

Subscriptions for 2021:

Junior member (eight to 18): £20. No further fees for junior fixtures or training Eight to 11-year-olds register for Dynamos (see below) and do NOT need to pay to be members of the club. .

Social member (including parents who want to support Bredon Cricket Club): £10.

All memberships are for the 2021 season only, and include use of our fully licensed clubhouse bar with TV.

Payments must be made through Coacha, our online membership/payments app (see below).

Children under the age of eight need should register with All Stars, our ECB-backed coaching programme.

Children aged eight to 11 should register for Dynamos (soft ball cricket), which is also backed by the ECB. They do NOT need to pay to become members of the club and/or play in our junior teams. 

All Stars and Dynamos start on Friday, May 14, and run for eight weeks.

More information about our junior teams this season:

  • U11s to be confirmed 
  • U13s are being run by Adam Howard, training on a Friday evening (from Friday April 16),  and playing in  the Cotswold Hills League on a Sunday morning.
  • U14s are being run by Stuart McMillan, training TBC and playing in the Cotswold Hills League on a Tuesday evening. 
  • U15s are being run by Sean Styles, training on a Monday evening and playing in the Cheltenham and District League on a Monday evening.   
  • U16s to be confirmed

All payments for senior and junior memberships (NOT All-Stars or Dynamos) must be made through Coacha. Bredon Cricket Club must first registered you with Coacha so you can be sent a log-in. To do this just email seanstyles@icloud.com.

Members who joined last season via Coacha will receive an email requesting membership payment. 

There is no junior registration evening for this season, but anyone needing further information should email seanstyles@icloud.com 

Membership fees for 2021

With the 2021 season nearly here it’s time to re-new your membership… or perhaps join Bredon Cricket Club for the first time.

Members who joined last season via our Coacha system will receive an email requesting membership payment online. 

These are the fees for this year:

Senior Playing Member £35

Junior Playing Member £20

Social Member £10

We welcome new  members, and they can request to join the club here.

The club’s nets will be open from Monday, March 29, and will follow ECB and government Covid-19 guidelines.

Only one practice net is available at present, and it must be booked in one-hour slots by contacting  at seanstyles@icloud.com or on 07779 268604. 

Nets can only be booked by paid-up playing members.

Memberships of Bredon Cricket Club 2020 are now open

Bredon Cricket Club are introducing a new online registration system for memberships in 2020.

All you have to do is complete the secure registration form, either for yourself or on behalf of a child (link below):

You will then be sent a request for the appropriate payment: £55 senior member, £25 junior member or £10 social member.

The new system will allow us to store membership details securely, collect payments efficiently and improve communication links with members.

The only cash payments now accepted (for those who unable to do so online) are for social memberships, and these can be made at the clubhouse bar.

Please note that registrations for All Stars (five to eight-year-olds) and Dynamos (aged eight to 11) must be made through the appropriate ECB website page (links below):
