Bredon Cricket Club’s ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ end-of-season family fun day is on Sunday, September 16.

It will be a chance to reflect on another season, and for a final party before autumn descends on Hill Close.

The celebration is for both senior and junior sides. Members and non-members, friends and families are also welcome.

The free party, which begins at 2pm, will include a presentation of players’ awards for the 2018 season. The plate final of the Bredon Hill Bash 20-over tournament will be played, and there will be live music from popular local singer Little Dave, a giant paella stall, barbecue and a bouncy castle for younger children.

A special welcome is being reserved for our season’s tea ladies (please come along, all of you) and groundsman Adam Gallagher.

The clubhouse bar will be open throughout.
