This wonderful picture of a Bredon Cricket Club team from the Seventies was kindly shared by Beverley Short, whose mum, Pat, was scorer at the club for many years.

Here is the line-up: John Farey (umpire, and father of Mark), Roger Langdon (brother of Nicky Langdon), Nicky Griffiths, Bob Pearson (one of the club’s best all-rounders in the last 60 years), Keith Barthorpe, John Weston, Geoff Hunt, Don Smith, Willy Langdon, Dave Taylor, Roger Washborne and Mark Farey. Don Smith (in blazer) was a legendary club chairman.

Do you have any memories or old pictures of Bredon Cricket Club you would like to share? Email bredoncc@btinternet.com or post on our Facebook page.

With thanks to Bredon and its Memories Facebook group, and Mark Farey.
